Each room has TV, a mini fridge and a desk. The Guesthouse has 2 shared bathrooms (one with shower), well equipped kitchen and a living room with a wood burning fireplace. Enjoy the view over the Lake Blundsvatn from the terrace. <strong>The Sunset Cottage</strong> has two bedrooms, kitchen facilities, fridge, stove and cooking equipments, a bathroom with shower and a seating area. Both The Guesthouse and The Sunset Cottage have outdoors BBQ (not in winter) and are extremely well situated to enjoy the West Icelandic sunset in summer, spring, autumn and the northern lights in winter.  The Guesthouse is a 120m2 4 bedroom house just 250m from Fossatún reception/restaurant. The Sunset Cottage  is only 35 metrs from the service house  (hot tubs) and 120 meters from the reception/restaurant. All pods have table, chairs, bench & a bed. All pods have access to bathroom facilities, two kitchen/dining houses, outdoor BBQ, showers and hot tubs and WiFi is available in kitchen and at reception/restaurant. We will have WiFi in all pods for summer 2020 as new fiber connection is being installed. <strong>Fossatún Camping Pods are a sleeping bag accommodation,</strong> (60% of guests bring their own sleeping bags or bedding. If guests do not have sleeping bags, a bed linen package of: Duvet, pillow, sheets and towel, can be rented. Price pr. person is for stay not pr. night: 1300 ISK if ordered in advance but 1500 on check in. 80% of pod guests stay for 2 nights or more. Staying in a pod is a suitable solution for guests who search for good basic and reasonably priced accommodation with access to well equipped kitchen and sanitary facilities, social interaction with other guests, nice hikes in the beautiful surrounding scenery plus a central location in the West Region of Iceland to go from on day trips in different directions. <strong>Standard Camping Pods. </strong>The twelve standard pods are for 2 adults. They have a double bed (140×200 cm).  Seven of them (nr. 11-17) have a seating/pull out bench that can easily be extended into an extra bed (70×200 cm) for an extra adult and also the inside can be used as storage space. The other five standard pods (nr. 4,5,8,9,10) have a seating bench. <strong>Twin Pod Cottages</strong>, have two separate beds (80×200 cm) for two adults. They are cottage shaped with seating area terrace at the entrance. <strong>Family Camping Pods</strong>  have beds for 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 or 2 children depending on age. They are 50% bigger ((14,5m2 instead of 9,5) than the standard pods and twin pods. Family Pods have a double bed (140×200 cm and a single bed (90×200 cm) in the special room.  Breakfast is optional  – a nice buffet at Fossatún Restaurant. Restaurant is seasonally open for dinner.
