So much more than camping!

A lot of leisure activities and facilities are included: Troll Garden, playground for the whole family and hiking trails, showers and hot tubs, mini-golf, washing-up facilities with hot and cold water, a big outdoor grill with a patio and a tables, toilet facilities and disposal of toilet waste.

ISK 1000 is paid, deposit for each rental set of mini-golf clubs and balls which is refunded upon return. Rental period incl. use, or a maximum of 2 hours.

Fossatún is not suitable for larger groups, such as family reunions, who are looking for shared facilities for dining, etc. The emphasis is on good facilities, recreational opportunities and a beautiful natural environment.

Family-friendly conditions are the main thing at Fossatún.

Toilet waste disposal is on the other side of the manor at the northern end of the area. See map.

Check-in at the campsite is from 15:00 20:00.

Check-out is from 8:00 -11:00.

Each unit includes 2 adults and 2 children over the age of 6 . For each adult excess in the accommodation unit is 1000 ISK additional fee and 500 for extra child. If there is only 1 adult and/or 1 child over 6 years of age in the accommodation unit an is ISK 1500 discount from base price is refunded at check in. If this framework does not fit, we will discuss the issues. Prices include: Lodging tax which is 400 ISK pr. night.

Dogs are allowed and their owners are responsible for keeping them on a leash and not disturbing other guests. Electrical plugs are in all areas either two or three pin (see map) Guests are expected to be considerate and from 24 to 09 it is strictly forbidden to make noise or cause a disturbance. The age limit for booking and staying in on the camp site is 20 years.

Kitchen facilities are NOT included with campsite but available for 2000 kr. charge

Campsite C

Surface: gravel with gr – 8 numerical areas 11m x 7m – Preferred units: Campervans, Motorhomes, Caravans. Electrical sockets: 2 pins. Price night: 5000 ISK. and electricity 1500 ISK.

Campsite D

Surface: gravel with gr – 8 numerical areas 11m x 7m – Preferred units: Campervans, Motorhomes, smaller caravans. Electrical sockets: 2 pins. Price night: 5000 ISK. and electricity 1500 ISK.

Campsite E

Surface: grass – 8 non-numerical areas – Preferred units: Campervans, smaller caravans, tents. Electrical sockets: 2 pins. Price night: 5000 ISK. and electricity 1500 ISK.

Campsite F

Surface: grass – 5 non-numerical areas – Preferred units: Campervans, Smaller Caravans, Tents. Electrical sockets: 2 pins. Price night: 5000 ISK. and electricity 1500 ISK.

Winter season price. From 1st September to 30th April: 4000 ISK pr. unit.

Restaurant: Rock’n’Troll Coffee is in the area and offers: breakfast, coffee breaks and dinner. It is recommended to order in advance.

Cancellation terms: 14 days. Must be canceled 14 days before arrival.
